Purpose of Establishment
1. Representing the benefits of the laundry industry in Malaysia.
2. Combine the power of collective members to protect the economic interest of the laundry business.
3. Safeguard the member interest in the event of new and revised laws on laundry business.
4. Assist or represent members in discussing the laundry industry related trade matters, purchasing, sales, and others.
5. Strengthen relationships and cooperation with other institutions or associations with the same purpose.
6. Carry out any work other than the above to safeguard the economic interests of every member.
The Meaning of Our Logo
- Red means dry cleaning. And blue means washing.
- The combination of red and blue indicates the close relationship between dry and wet cleaning.
- The red and blue colors resemble a laundry tub, forming an “S” shape. The “S” word is the first English letter used by the Selangor laundry industry in 1927.
- The S shape is presented in a wavy water shape, which means: Malaysia Garments And Linens Cleaning Services Association is constantly active, energetic, strong and brave, reformed, and defending its rights and interests!
